The SInet Green Theme focusses on linking academics,administrative staff and students undertaking, research, learning and practice for economic, social and environmental sustainability.  it is actively involved in:

Projects to use the knowledge and skills of UoW researchers to reduce the Carbon Footprint of our Campus -See for example details of our Energy Informatics project

Establishing a Wollongong Node of the Global Women's Scholar Network funded by the US NSF through the Climate Wise Women at the University of Colorado.  We participated in a side event at the Rio+20 conference We are co-ordinating with the Australian Government's delegation, see
