Associate Professor Geraldine Lefoe is currently a member of ALTC project Lessons Learnt: identifying synergies in distributed leadership projects (Sandra Jones, RMIT). She is also a member of the Reference Groups for Demonstrating distributed leadership through cross-disciplinary peer networks: responding to climate change complexity (UTAS), and; and Sustaining distributive leadership in learning and teaching: Cascade and perpetual effectiveness of the faculty scholar model (Flinders University); and the external evaluator for Embedding and sustaining leadership development for course coordinators through tailored support during curriculum review (UTAS). In 2006-8 she was the Project Leader for an ALTC funded leadership grant (LE69), Distributive leadership for learning and teaching: Developing the faculty scholar model. She co-led an ALTC commissioned project with The Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ascilite) focusing on User Needs for the Carrick Exchange 2006-2008. Geraldine has published over 30 refereed journal articles, conference papers and book chapters related to leadership in higher education, educational technology and improving learning and teaching and conducted research in the area of improving outcomes for sessional staff.

Professor Yoni Ryan was a member of the Project Team for the ALTC CADAD RED Report and Resource, and a major contributor to the final materials. She was a member of the Project Team of the ALTC 'Digital Learning Communities: Investigating the application of social software to support networked learning' and was a member of the Reference Group for the ‘Developing Academics for Higher Education Futures’ (Swinburne-CADAD), assisting in the final report for that project. Yoni was also a member of the Reference Group for the ALTC UNE-led national Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education project. She has a strong research interest in professional development for learning and teaching, particularly for sessional staff; in new learning technologies, and in education policy.

Associate Professor Jo McKenzie is Director of the Institute for Interactive Media and Learning at UTS. was project leader for the AUTC/Carrick project Dissemination, adoption and adaptation of learning innovations in higher education project (2005) and has completed a range of other large teaching and learning innovation, academic development and evaluation projects. She has nineteen years experience in academic development in higher education and has chaired several committees developing institutional teaching and learning policies and guidelines, including for curriculum design, assessment, subject outlines and student feedback. Jo’s involvement with sessional staff development began with the 1992-4 project Professional Development of Sessional Staff that developed institutional and Faculty development programs and Teaching Matters video resources. She was a member of the UTS working group on Supporting Casual Academic Staff and, with Dr Peter Kandlbinder developed a leadership program for course co-ordinators at UTS. She continues to manage casual academic development activities with her IML colleagues. Her research focuses on university teachers’ learning in both traditional and e-learning environments.

Associate Professor Janne Malfroy is Director of the Teaching Development Unit at UWS. The unit manages major teaching and learning initiatives, such as implementation of assessment reviews and curriculum re-design projects. The unit also manages the university's e-learning systems and leads a range of strategies for improving the quality of e-learning at University of Western Sydney. Janne has an extensive background in the provision of induction and professional development programs for academic staff. She has successfully completed funded projects in the areas of inclusive curriculum, e-learning frameworks, and doctoral education. Janne has co-authored resources currently being used by sessional staff, such as guides for assessment and tutoring, and has a strong publication record.

Ms Dominique Parrish is an external consultant who has been employed to manage CLASS leadership project. Dominique is an experienced Project Manager who has managed her own business since 2005; a 2006 ALTC funded leadership grant, Distributive leadership for learning and teaching: Developing the faculty scholar model; an ALTC commissioned project with The Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ascilite) focusing on User Needs for the Carrick Exchange 2006-2008 and is responsible for the ongoing management of the ascilite Secretariat. Dominique's research focuses on emotional intelligence and leadership in a higher education context and she is currently completing her doctoral research in this area.
